Chris Brown is reportedly planning to sue the woman who accused him of punching her in the face at a New Year's party.
Liziane Gutierrez claims the R&B star attacked her when he spotted her taking a photo of him during a bash in his suite at Las Vegas resort The Palms early on Saturday (02Jan16).
Brown's aides were quick to dismiss her allegations and play down a police investigation surrounding the reported incident, and now sources tell TMZ.com the singer is planning to file a defamation suit as early as Monday (04Jan16).
He's also using his latest legal wrangle to cut ties with friends who regularly invite "random girls" to hang out with him at parties, according to the website.
Brown took to Instagram on Saturday (3Jan16) stating he is looking to cut out a number of people from his life in an effort to thwart drama.
"Keeping my circle small in 2016!" he wrote on the picture-sharing website. "I'm done taking the care of grown a*s men. And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name. Happy NEW YEAR! Time for some of us to grow the f*** up!"
