Khloé Kardashian admits she found it simultaneously tough and delightful to visit the hospital over the weekend (5-6Dec15).

The 31-year-old reality star's older sister Kim Kardashian gave birth to a son at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday 5 December (15), her second child with husband Kanye West.

Several of Kim's loved ones have already visited the newborn at the health facility and Khloé had mixed emotions about going there, writing on her Twitter account: "I know these hospital halls way too well. Hoping (sic) from one room to another."

She later tweeted a meme out to her millions of followers which reads: "Every next level of your life will demand a different you."

Khloé's estranged husband Lamar Odom is a patient at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center currently after being transferred there from Nevada in November (15). His medical woes began after he suffered a drug overdose at a brothel, fell into coma, then had organ failure, and although he is said to be conscious, it's claimed the professional basketball player's rehabilitation may take years. Throughout Lamar's health ordeal Khloé made medical decisions for him because although they were estranged, she was still legally married to him at the time he overdosed.

Even though Khloé experienced many difficult moments at Cedars-Sinai in recent months, her sister and nephew are doing very well at the hospital, as People magazine reports they are "resting in a deluxe maternity suite" with proud father Kanye by their side.

Eldest sibling Kourtney Kardashian also expressed her joy over the birth via Twitter by writing, "Baby's breath" - closing out the message with a blue heart and a prayer hands emoji.

According to People, Kim and Kanye are being flooded with congratulations as they bond with their new baby in the hospital room.

“They are receiving a lot of gifts, including baskets and flowers," the publication reports. "The suite is also decorated with blue balloons."

Before giving birth, Kim went public about being concerned over the welfare of her child in the womb, as he was breech, but the baby turned around after she had an external cephalic version.

Fortunately the labour process is said to have gone relatively smooth for her.

"Kim was having some intense contractions last night but everything went fairly smoothly and she’s so happy to have the baby here,” a source said. “She’s resting now. She had some pretty intense anxiety the last couple of days and especially yesterday just before the baby came. But everything went according to plan.”
