Kylie Jenner has denied rumours she and Tyga have split.

Rumours suggesting the 18-year-old reality television star had ended her relationship with Tyga on his 26th birthday started swirling earlier this month (Nov15), but Kylie has kept fans guessing about her romance status with posts on her Instagram page, including one snapshot which showed her legs entwined with Tyga's.

Then, while taping a segment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which will air on Monday (30Nov15), the young star decided to set the record straight.

"Honestly, people have it all wrong," Kylie told Ellen. "We're not broken up."

But, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star steadfastly refused to call the rapper her boyfriend. Instead she insisted they are friends first. The couple first met when Tyga performed at Kylie's 14th birthday party in 2011, and have been close ever since.

"We just, honestly, we became best friends before anything happened, so I think that that's awesome," she continued. "And we're just, like, hanging out all the time."

"We're still together," Kylie added.

The stars, who made their red carpet debut together at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles in August (15), have faced much scrutiny over their relationship as Kylie was just 17, a year under the age of consent in most U.S. states, when she and Tyga started dating.
