Singer Jason Derulo thought a British interviewer was quizzing him about sex because he couldn’t understand the English slang.
The American singer flies all over the world to promote his music but things can get confusing thanks to the cultural differences. During a recent trip to the UK, a reporter asked the musician who he was planning on “snogging” that night – a colloquial term for kissing. However, poor old Jason got confused and thought he was being grilled on his antics in the bedroom.
He posted a clip of the moment on Instagram, writing: “Interviewer asked me who I was planning on "snogging" tonight ??? #britishslang (sic).”
The short video shows a baffled Jason saying: “Damn, does that mean what I think it means - to have sex with?” before everyone around him erupting into fits of laughter and the embarrassed star adding: “Oh, kiss! Hey, come on, you’re throwing the English terms at me!”
Even though followers didn’t get to see the 26-year-old hunk’s answer, it’s likely the lucky lady is 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy. News broke last week (end20Nov15) that he’s dating the 28-year-old model, who is the mother of 50’s three-year-old son Sire.
"They really like each other," a source told E! News. "It's still new but they are exclusive and really like being around each other. It’s a very carefree, easy-going relationship."
While Jason hasn’t acknowledged the rumours, he did post a recent Flashback Friday picture of himself and Daphne enjoying a night out in London on Instagram. And if they really are dating, it’s a safe bet their sex-life will be red hot, as Jason recently revealed he likes dirty talk in bed.
"What's actually crazy, in my younger years, I never would speak like that (during sex),” he recently divulged during an interview with talk show host James Corden. “Just kinda silent, until this one girl told me it was weird... Now I'm full on vocals, big!"
