Jennifer Lopez is a "true triple threat", according to rapper Azealia Banks.
The singer-and-actress impressed at the American Music Awards on Sunday (22Nov15), where she changed outfits an incredible nine times while hosting. And it looks like Jennifer has won another fan in the form of 212 singer Azealia.
"Jlo is coming for the girls who tried to come for her and I'm loving every f**king second of it. Jlo is #thatb**ch," she wrote on Twitter.
"JLO is one of the best to ever do it. "It," meaning everything. good music, great actress, a great dancer. A TRUE triple threat."
But there was speculation not everyone was so taken with Jennifer's performance at the AMAs. Taking a break from presenting, the 46-year-old hit the stage during the night to play a mix of current songs. Among them was Anaconda by Nicki Minaj, whose facial expressions were scrutinised during the act.
As the camera panned to her, she seemed to go from smirking to straight-faced, with one Twitter user commenting: "Damn J Lo....... Nicki Minaj facial expression says it all... We still love u doe (sic)."
However, Nicki was quick to defend herself, insisting she meant nothing by it.
"lol says what all?," she responded. "I'm looking at my own face on the screen when I'm looking to the right. I turn Bak (sic) & look @ her."
But it looks like nothing could hold Jennifer back right now anyway. Following a divorce from Marc Anthony in 2014 and some ups and downs with boyfriend Casper Smart, she's now the happiest she's ever been.
“It’s about believing in your own value and your own self-worth,” she recently told Britain's Metro newspaper. “I think that’s a struggle for most people, not just women. It’s really believing that you’re enough and you’re good enough.
“I realised I had to start valuing myself in different ways than before. I guess I never really did. You never give it a lot of thought and then you realise, ‘Wow, I’m not giving myself enough credit. I just beat myself up all the time.’”
