The owners of The Bataclan, the Paris music venue were terrorists attacked the audience during the Eagles of Death Metal concert on Friday, have urged people to stay away from the venue for the time being.
In a statement they said, “Many of you want to come to the Bataclan, but unfortunately, the authorities still need to work on site. We will keep you informed as soon as it’s possible for you to come and mourn in front of the concert hall. Thank you for your support, which deeply affects us.”
Management of the venue added, “No words can express the level of sadness we feel. Our thoughts go to the victims, to those injured and to their loved ones.”
It has now been revealed that Mercury Records International Product Manager Thomas Ayad was one of the people killed at the venue on Friday. Ayad worked closely with Justin Bieber.
Bieber tweeted “Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy. He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him. Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends. #PrayForParis.”
