Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei wants to be locked in a room with Wiz Khalifa because he seems brainy.

The 19-year-old singer found fame with the girl group after it finished in third place on the American X Factor in 2012. The five-piece has gone on to enjoy a hugely successful career with its most recent hit Worth It doing well on both sides of the Atlantic, and in a new interview with Us Weekly magazine, the girls opened up about what they think is “worth it”.

During the chat, the publication asked Normani if she would enjoy being trapped alongside See You Again musician Wiz for 24 hours – and the singer’s response was somewhat surprising.

“We would have a really amazing conversation,” Normani replied. “He seems brainy. Rappers are really the smartest people.”

On the surface, Normani wouldn’t seem like a typical rap fan, having previously been a gospel and soul singer before being put in Fifth Harmony by the X Factor judges. She has since moved into the pop arena and credits Beyoncé among her musical influences but there is one singer who Normani idolises above all others.

“Nicki Minaj is my queen!” she added when asked if she would ever get into a Twitter battle with the Anaconda singer. “I would never want that to happen. I’d just want to be her best friend forever.”

Normani is joined in the band by Ally Brooke Hernandez, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello and Dinah Jane Hansen and while the girls are now role models to their young fans, Lauren has her eye on another job if their singing careers ever started to wane.

Asked about whether she would ever want to be a nanny for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s children, Lauren replied: “So worth it I could cry. I’d do anything to be a part of that family!”
