Rapper Nelly says Taylor Swift isn't "wild enough" to party with him.

The star surprised fans at Taylor's 1989 World Tour show in September (15) when he got up on stage with her and band Haim to perform his classic track Hot In Herre. While he has no problem helping her out at work, there's no chance they'll be painting the town red together.

"Taylor Swift is not wild, buddy," Nelly explained to Britain's Metro newspaper. "She's nowhere on the wild side for Nelly. Nelly is a wild boy, you know what I'm saying?"

The singer was impressed with Taylor's generosity however and enjoyed being picked up in her private jet when they performed together. But the rapper didn't tip, reasoning Taylor "doesn't need Nelly's money".

Also making an impression on Nelly is Taylor's good friend and fellow musician Ed Sheeran. "Me and Ed Sheeran know each other," he said. "I wouldn't say we're friends yet because I take that word very seriously. We have a mutual respect there and I'm a fan of his work - I would call him a friend in training."

Nelly added a collaboration could well be on the cards, but that it would be Ed's choice.

The 41-year-old is certainly showing no signs of slowing down, working with Jeremih on new single The Fix. And it will be a long time before he retires from his fun-loving ways.

"I don't think I'll ever stop wearing sneakers," he grinned. "I would never stop going to a Jay Z concert, he could be 65. I could be f**king 55, I'm there. If Snoop Dogg is 70 and he's having a concert in Vegas, I'm there."

Nelly hasn't released an album since 2013's M.O. and despite impressing fans with The Fix, he hasn't confirmed whether a new record will follow.
