This week, legendary UK dance act ‘Faithless’ released ‘Faithless 2.0’ - a full-length album that pays homage to their extraordinary legacy, celebrating their remarkable 20 years in dance music in the process.

In the midweek sales figures released by the Official Charts Company, the record looks poised to grant the band their third UK #1 album - but not if John Grant has anything to do with it. Only 1,200 copies separate ‘Faithless 2.0’ from Grant’s ‘Grey Tickles, Black Pressure’ in the battle for the top spot, with Faithless flying the flag for UK dance music as they have done throughout their trailblazing 20-year career.

‘Faithless 2.0’ itself serves as a retrospective look back across Faithless’ remarkable discography, with classics like ‘God Is A DJ’, ‘We Come One’ and ‘Insomnia’ reimagined by some of the biggest dance music producers of today. Avicii, Tiesto, Flux Pavilion, Above and Beyond, Booka Shade, Claptone, High Contrast, Eric Prydz, Purple Disco Machine and Armin Van Buuren have all been enlisted as remixers on CD1, with Faithless’ iconic original versions compiled on CD2 - a nod to the past, present and future of dance music.

Faithless are also embarking on a number of UK and European tour dates across November and December, with tickets to the band’s Alexandra Palace gig in December selling out in less than an hour.
