Nick Jonas thinks his personal life is entirely “boring”.
The 23-year-old singer has recently been romantically linked to Kate Hudson. And while it has since been reported that the pair are just friends, Nick admits he often struggles to cope with the interest in his relationships.
"There’s always interest in my personal life — I have to be aware of that,” Nick told US TV show Extra. “It's part of my job and I laugh it off. I think my life is boring, personal life that is."
"I just choose to write about it, talk about it, in my music."
Nick has been predominantly single since splitting from beauty queen girlfriend Olivia Culpo back in June (15).
But he is always on the lookout for a woman with the qualities he thinks make the perfect partner.
"Key is personality, someone that brings something to the table, pushes me to be better in some way, or makes me think,” Nick said of his dream woman.
Kate, 36, actress and Nick were linked last month (September 15) after being seen at various locations in Florida, including looking cosy on a ride at Disney World, Orlando.
However, sources later revealed there is nothing romantic going on between the pair.
The insider told Page Six that Kate and Nick met when they were introduced by mutual friends several months ago.
“They’re hanging out, but they’re not dating,” the source said.
Kate was previously linked to Nick when she went to see the singer perform in September (15) along with a host of other celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend Casper Smart.
The Almost Famous actress is clearly a fan of musicians, having previously had relationships with The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, to whom she was married from 2001 to 2007, and Muse rocker Matt Bellamy.
The pair were engaged and have son Bingham together but parted ways in December 2014.
