At last! Florence & The Machine will play Open'er Festival for the first time.
They come to Gdynia as a headliners in the best possible moment. Next year, in June Florence Welch with her band will appear on our festival with an album, that has already been described as one of the most important and one of the best albums in 2015.
"How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful”, an album that was released barely three months ago, has debuted on the first spots of the most important bestseller charts in the world. Its premiere was accompanied by performances on few crucial festivals, i.a. American Coachella and Glastonbury, where the band filled Foo Fighters' slot last minute. The performance was so outstanding, that Dave Grohl - Foo Fighters leader - admitted that he cried during its transmission, especially when Flo was covering "Times Like These".
Open'er Festival will take place between 29.06 and 2.07.2016 in Gdynia, at Kosakowo airport. Florence & The Machine will perform on the first day of the festival.
