Following the announcement of Jack Savoretti’s biggest UK tour to date, including a show at London’s Roundhouse on October 15th, he releases his new single ‘Back Where I Belong’ on 2nd October on BMG, alongside a new edition of the album ‘Written In Scars’.
Written by Jack and Matty Benbrook (Paolo Nutini, Jake Bugg) 'Back Where I Belong' is a feel good summer track built around rhythmic guitar riffs and a retro bass line. With ‘Written In Scars’ fast approaching silver status and sales exceeding 50k, 2015 has seen Jack Savoretti firmly establish himself as one of the country’s finest singer/ songwriters. The album has spent most of the summer in the Top 20 including two weeks at Number 1 in the Independent Chart.
The new edition of the album includes an extra disc that includes two new tracks (‘Back Where I Belong’ and Catapult’), five tracks recorded live in Rome and two remixes by Alexander Brown and will be released on September 18th.
After selling out his last tour including a critically acclaimed show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, Jack has had a busy summer playing festivals which kicked off at Glastonbury, and end supporting Elbow ‘On Blackheath’ on September 12th.
