Meghan Trainor only expected a few thousand people to view her All About That Bass video.

The 21-year-old is firmly part of the pop world thanks to the smash hit that launched her career and became an anthem for women everywhere. Now the song's video has reached one billion views on Vevo, which seems incredible to star.

"1 BILLION I thought this video MIGHT get 20,000 when it first came out. Now a year later...WOW! Thank you to everyone who helped in the making of this video and who helped me start my career! I love you all so much (sic)," Meghan wrote on Instagram.

Meghan's career keeps going from strength to strength and her debut album Title made it to number one in countries including Australia, the UK and the US.

But while everyone is listening to Meghan's songs, the star herself is enjoying Nick Jonas' solo music. The singer, who started off in sibling band Jonas Brothers, introduced new single Levels last week and has been getting heaps of praise from fans and fellow celebs alike.

"YES @nickjonas new single is great job nick playing this nonstop #levels," Meghan tweeted her friend.

"If you haven't downloaded this smash yet you're makin a mistake ... Congrats @nickjonas #LEVELS (sic)"

Demi Lovato was also quick to share her love for Levels: "Everyone go get @nickjonas new single #levels NOW!!! Congrats nick.. another smash.. proud of you! (sic)," she supported her pal on Twitter.
