Taylor Swift is apparently less of a party girl than Rita Ora.

The former country star has found love with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, whose relationship with British singer Rita went down in flames last year.

Taylor and Calvin caused surprise when they got together at the Brit Awards in February, as many thought they were so different. But they have proved their critics wrong with a series of gushing Instagram and Twitter posts over the last month.

"They're both pretty clean-living on the whole. Taylor is certainly less of a party girl than Rita, but they have fun, and Calvin loves the people she brings to his gigs and when their friends meet up," an insider told British magazine Heat.

"She's the only female on the planet he feels inspired by, because of what she's achieved."

And Taylor, 25, certainly has accomplished a lot of late. She famously spoke out against Apple's decision not to pay artists for their new streaming service, eventually causing the tech giant to have a rethink. Then last week she and Calvin were named Forbes' highest-earning celebrity couple, stealing the crown from Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z.

"They're so cute together on Instagram. They could be the new Victoria and David!" Sam Smith even enthused on Heat radio recently.

The pair have taken their romance slowly and it's only recently that they've gone properly public with it. Calvin was on hand to support Taylor at her shows in Dublin at the end of last month, and he seemed happy spending time with her loved ones.

"Calvin was so relaxed with her brother, they were having a great time. Andrea [Taylor's mother] and Calvin started dancing at one point and he was singing along to all of her songs, even the unknown ones," concertgoer Suzie Dickinson told Heat.
