Spotify can today confirm that David Guetta has smashed the 2 billion plays milestone on Spotify, making him only the third artist* in Spotify history to do so.
The achievement also makes him both the first EDM artist, and the first French artist, to reach 2 billion plays. David Guetta is currently the most-followed artist on Spotify with 6.8m followers, and boasts more than 15m fans listening on Spotify each month.
