Adam Lambert has today been announced as the latest performer at The One For The Boys Fashion Ball, joining the likes of Sia, Paolo Nutini, Ella Eyre and John Newman.

The event takes place on the 12th June at The Roundhouse, Camden, hosted by Samuel L Jackson & Stanley Tucci. One For The Boys, the charity, which aims to unite men and raise awareness and funds for male cancer, today unveils its 2015 June events - including the Fashion Ball to kick-start London Collections Men.

As the fashion world descends on the city for the new season’s collections, One For The Boys will host the second annual celebration of the start of the menswear shows here in London. A two-day event will see an exclusive evening at Asprey on Thursday 11th June, followed by a Golf tournament at Bearwood Lakes on Friday 12th June, culminating in the One For The Boys Fashion Ball that evening at The Roundhouse in North London.

This event brings together stars from the worlds of fashion, film, sport, TV and comedy, to raise money for charity. Guests will be treated to live performances from Adam Lambert, Sia, Paolo Nutini, Ella Eyre, John Newman, and more. Hosted by One For The Boys chairman, Samuel L. Jackson and Stanley Tucci, guests at the Fashion Ball will be treated to fine dining, live performances, and a celebrity fashion show, presenting this season’s looks from top designers. A star studded line-up including Alice Cooper, David Gandy, Jesse Metcalfe, Oliver Cheshire and John Bishop, will take to the catwalk in a celebration of the night of fashion and fundraising.

One For The Boys Chairman, Samuel L Jackson, comments: "We're thrilled to be supporting London Collections Men with a campaign that is all about the boys. Uniting people from the worlds of fashion, music, sports, comedy, and more, we're giving men a voice for their health to speak up and say something.”

Proudly supporting One for the Boys, Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, comments, “Even though men are 14 per cent more likely to get cancer than women, far too many of us are unlikely to visit the GP or check ourselves for any potential signs. Spotting cancer early is key to treating it and surviving it. I wholeheartedly support the work of One for the Boys and would encourage men in London and elsewhere to get anything worrying looked at sooner rather than later.”

One For The Boys was founded in October 2012 by Sofia Davis as a tribute to a friend’s brother who lost the battle to cancer. Chaired by Samuel L. Jackson and supported by global ambassadors including Michael Douglas, Dylan Jones, Simon Pegg and John Bishop, One For The Boys arms men with the facts, the risks and tools they need to tackle cancer head on.
