Jennifer Lopez is “super excited” about her upcoming Las Vegas residency.

The 45-year-old singer is preparing to perform a string of concerts in Sin City at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino from January 20 next year.

And while the show is still in the planning stages, Jennifer has revealed she is thrilled to have been given the chance to create her dream performance for her fans.

"I’m super excited about it, I’ll be doing a full concert so you can come and see me any time when you’re in Vegas,” Jennifer said, during an interview at the Billboard Music Awards.

“I’m most looking forward to creating a show that I’ve always wanted to create."

Jennifer first made a name for herself when she starred in a minor role in the 1986 movie My Little Girl, when she was just 17.
Since then, she has enjoyed a hugely successful career as an actress, singer and talent show judge.

But asked about the most important lesson she has learned during her time in the spotlight, Jennifer said: “You have to be grateful and humble."

Jennifer is the latest star to agree to a residency in Vegas, following Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears.

And the stunning star said in a previous interview that she’s excited about making the most of the perks of having a temporary abode in the city.

“It's the best restaurants, a lot of shopping. You can get into trouble over there," she laughed to USA Today. "I get into the clean kind of trouble. I'm not a gambler, and I'm not into the nightlife as much, but I have plans to enjoy myself."
