Justin Bieber has reportedly visited a hospital for a wrist injury.

The 20-year-old pop star was checked out Wednesday by doctors at Stratford General Hospital in his native Ontario who told him he suffered a sprain, sources tell TMZ.

It was unclear at press time if the alleged sprain was connected to his arrest Friday after his ATV (all terrain vehicle) crashed into a paparazzo’s minivan.

An Ontario Provincial Police spokesperson tells ABC News Justin was driving the vehicle at the time of the collision and then got into an altercation with a man inside the van.

The singer was charged with dangerous driving and assault.

Police confirmed a passenger was on the ATV during the time of the collision. The passenger’s identity was not revealed; however, paparazzi photos show the Canadian star’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez riding with him the same day.

Justin’s lawyer, Brian H. Greenspan, confirmed reports the two had vacationed together when addressing the charges in a previous statement.

“Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s peaceful retreat in Stratford this weekend was unfortunately disrupted by the unwelcome presence of the paparazzi,” he said. “This has regrettably resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault. Mr. Bieber and Ms. Gomez have fully cooperated in the police investigation. We are hopeful that this matter will be quickly resolved."

Justin was released shortly after his arrest.

The star remains on probation from charges of vandalism after he admitted to throwing eggs at a neighbour’s house last January.

He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanour charges of careless driving and resisting arrest after a drag race in Miami earlier this year.

His next court date in the latest case is scheduled for September 29, although a lawyer may appear on his behalf.
