Usher vows his upcoming tour will be anything but “typical”.

The R&B singer announced the tour dates for his The UR Experience Tour on Tuesday, after teasing fans with a one-minute video of himself preparing to take the stage. And he believes fans will walk away with their minds blown.

“The UR Experience is not typical and unexpected,” he told MTV News.

The star is keeping most of the details under wraps. But he did say the show will be unlike anything concertgoers have seen and felt before.

“I will tell you, by the end of the night, you will have an experience that only you will remember,” Usher said, explaining, “You know you’ve had those one concerts you went to in your childhood, there’s this moment in your life that you’re like, ‘Man, that concert — I just wish I could relive in that moment?’ That’s what I’m trying to create — that’s what I’m creating every single night.”

The UR Experience Tour will launch in Bell Centre, Montreal November 1, the first of 28 dates announced by the pop star this week.

The trek continues through Canada and the US, wrapping in Tampa, Florida December 14.

“I want to give my fans an ever-changing live show full of surprises and special guests," he said while announcing the dates.
The trek marks Usher's first headlining tour in three years and will feature guests including August Alsina and DJ Cassidy, according to a previous news release.

Usher’s new studio album, UR, is also scheduled for release in the fall.

Tickets go on sale September 8.
