Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have wed.
The couple became man and wife during a ceremony near her hometown of Chicago, Illinois, the groom’s brother, actor Mark Wahlberg, confirmed in a tweet posted Sunday.
“Congratulations @DonnieWahlberg and @JennyMcCarthy, so happy for you both today,” he wrote.
The Toronto Sun reports Mark was unable to make it to the wedding, but enlisted the help of his wife, Rhea Durham, and their children to shoot an Instagram video celebrating the happy occasion.
Donnie reportedly did enjoy a small New Kids on the Block reunion during the ceremony, said to be held at the Hotel Baker in St Charles.
Bandmates Jordan Knight and Danny Wood were in attendance, according to local newspaper The Courier-News, as was Jenny’s former The View co-host, actress Sherri Shepherd.
Jenny announced her engagement to Donnie during an episode of the ABC talk show back in April.
Three months later, the couple hinted they had planned to wed in mid-August.
This marks the second union for the bride and groom.
Donnie shares two sons with ex-wife Kim Fey. The former couple divorced in 2008 after nine years of marriage.
Jenny also shares a son with ex-husband John Asher. The former couple wed in 1999 and divorced in 2005.
