Nick Gordon has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Whitney Houston’s so-called “adopted son”, who married the late singer’s daughter Bobbi Kristina in January, was involved in a collision Thursday in Roswell, Georgia.

No major injuries were reported.

Zach Frommer, of the Roswell police department, told Radar Online Nick lost control of his BMW at Holcomb Bridge Road near the intersection of Barnwell Road just after 11:30 a.m.

“Preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle attempted to change lanes, struck a curb and overturned, striking a fire hydrant,” the officer said.

A source tells TMZ Nick was allegedly driving on a suspended licence.

He was arrested after police felt he gave them “probable cause”, according to the outlet.

A breathalyzer was reportedly not conducted. Authorities were apparently seeking a warrant for a blood test.

Nick also faces a charge of failure to maintain lane in addition to the suspended licence and DUI allegations, according to Radar.

He is currently in custody at the Roswell Detention Center, the outlet reports.

Whitney’s daughter was reportedly not in the vehicle at the time.

The 21-year-old aspiring actress grew up with Nick after her mother took him in when he was 12.

The couple have sparked controversy since their relationship became romantic despite not sharing any blood relatives, and Bobbi Kristina says she could not have gotten through her mother’s 2012 death without him.

"He's saved my life through such an extremely difficult time. I was very, very low at some points. He's been everything for me and that means a lot to me," she explained to British newspaper The Sun back in February.

Whitney was found in her hotel bathtub in February 2012. Her death was ruled to have been caused by "accidental drowning”. She was 48.
