Miley Cyrus’ arrival at a hotel supposedly resembled “a tornado”.
The 21-year-old Wrecking Ball singer is known for having a hard-partying lifestyle.
And according to Life & Style magazine, when she and her entourage arrived to New York City’s Greenwich Hotel on August 2, Miley’s presence was immediately felt.
“It was like a tornado hit the lobby,” an alleged eyewitness told the publication. “Miley and her posse took over, screaming and carrying on so much that management received a number of complaints.”
Apparently someone in Miley’s crew was smoking marijuana, to the dismay of hotel staff and other guests.
Miley and her representatives have not yet released an official statement on the purported incident.
The We Can’t Stop songstress had to cancel several dates of her Bangerz world tour in April after suffering a violent allergic reaction to some medication she was prescribed, resulting in her being hospitalised for days. She is now wrapping up shows on this string of performances and concertgoers witness her wear variety of raunchy outfits on stage, including a high-cut leotard emblazoned with marijuana leaves.
She has never hidden her use of the drug and has chatted about it in previous interviews.
"I think weed is the best drug on earth. One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon," she boasted to Rolling Stone magazine in the past.
Miley is currently performing shows in the United States on her Bangerz tour. She will next visit Central and South America, and the concert series will wrap up in Perth, Australia on October 23.
