Ciara has reportedly called off her engagement.

The 28-year-old singer accepted rapper Future’s proposal in October 2013 and in May they welcomed their first child together, a son called Future Zahir Wilburn.

Us Weekly is now claiming the pair are no longer together, with Ciara apparently pulling the plug on the relationship.

“She's devastated. Ciara's focus now is the baby,” an insider told the publication.

Another source claimed Future had been unfaithful, although there is no confirmation of the allegation.

At the moment there is no more information about the split available.

Ciara appears on the cover of the August/September issue of Brides magazine, which hit stands last month. She was pictured in a white dress with lace detailing and sleeves, clutching a bouquet of white roses and with her 15-carat engagement ring clearly visible.

“Our label put us together," she said in the accompanying interview. "I went into the studio strictly to work, but he was very calm and sweet, a gentleman… I knew right away that he was different. Now he's my best friend in the world, my partner."

The singer also revealed she had already planned some of her wedding, which it is thought was to take place this year. Ciara wanted guests to wear black tie, adding she wanted black and white outfits rather than “loud colors”.

“There will be five or six [bridesmaids] and two matrons of honor,” she said. "They’ll all wear the same color, but in different styles to suit their personalities. I want my ladies to look amazing.”
