Gene Simmons is rarely one to hold back on his opinion.

He certainly didn't do so on Monday when he visited the studios of HuffPost Live on Monday to talk about all things KISS, including their current tour, their Arena Football team and the reality series based on that team, 4th and Loud.

Eventually, the discussion turned to the immigrant situation and Simmons told Ricky Camilleri of HuffPost that he thinks all immigrants should learn to speak English. "I'm actually saying the thing that needs to be said because the politically-correct climate is bullshit. You don't want to upset anybody by saying, 'Learn to speak goddamn English.' So, as an immigrant, I'm telling you: learn to speak goddamn English. It is the key that will unlock the keys to the kingdom."

Simmons spoke for almost ten minutes on his own immigration to the United States at a young age and is advising new immigrants to do it the way he did. "In America, I've learned that you have a certain feduciary duty to learn how to speak English, get rid of your accent...I did...be a legal immigrant...I'm a legal immigrant. Come to the country, buckle your knees a little bit, make the effort to learn the culture and assimilate to the point that you can. You're all proud of who you are and where you come from ... just tip your hat to America, the melting pot, that makes it all possible."
