Actor Guy Pearce is the latest thespian to become a recording artist.

Pearce has been working on his debut album ‘Broken Bones’ and this week released the first single ‘Storm’.

The album was recorded at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios in Auckland, New Zealand. It features Michael Barker (Drums/Percussion), Jol Mullholland (Bass), Brett Adams (Guitar) and former Split Enz keyboard player Eddie Rayner playing an array of keyboards.

46-year old Guy Pearce scored his break as an actor in the soap opera Neighbours where he starred as Mike Young from 1986-1989 for 496 episodes. He also had a 12 episode role in ‘Home and Away’ in 1991.

Pearce became a big star in Australia when he played a drag queen in ‘The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’. The Hollywood breaks came with ‘L.A. Confidential’ (1997), ‘Memento’ (2000), ‘The Time Machine’ (2002) and more recently as the villain Aldrich Killian in ‘Iron Man 3’.

‘Broken Bones’ the album will be released in November.
