Whitney Houston tributes flooded social media through the weekend as loved ones remembered the star on what would have been her 51st birthday.

The late legend passed away in February 2012, but more than two years later her memory lives on in the hearts of friends, family and fans.

“Happy Birthday to angel with the voice of God, and my friend. I miss you so much!!! #WhitneyHouston #BirthdayGirl,” Mary J. Blige tweeted.

Brandy, who worked with the late singer on Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella back in 1997, also paid tribute.

“God singing through #WhitneyHouston,” she captioned a video of the diva performing.

“Thinking about the great #WhitneyHouston on her birthday today. <3 She would have been 51. #sheismissed,” read a tweet from the Queen Latifah Show.

The late singer’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, also mentioned her mother on social media.

The 21-year-old’s Twitter feed included several posts in remembrance Saturday and Sunday.

“#HappyBirthdaymommy ! #HappyBirthdayWhitney ! #AllAugustAllWhitney #iloveyou ! @nickdgordon @mwhitaker10,” Bobbi wrote.

“GoodMorningWorld ! & AGrandBeautifulPhenomenalWonderful HappyHappyHappyBirthday2my amazingMommy! 2day is YOUR day, Iloveulady!” she continued, revealing she would dedicate the entire month to her late mother.

“GoodmorningAll ! Having a wonderful #AllAugustAllWhitney #WhitneyBirthdayWeekend ! I love you my lady :) #WhitneyWeekend,” she tweeted.

Missy Elliot, Toni Braxton and Beyoncé were also among those paying tribute earlier in the weekend.

Whitney passed away on February 11, 2012 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. She was 48.
