Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly living “a short walk away” from Chris Martin.

The pair famously announced the end of their marriage in a post on Gwyneth’s GOOP lifestyle blog back in March.

While Chris has denied reports the former couple have since rekindled their romance, PageSix now claims they remain close as ever, and are staying in two neighbouring homes in Amagansett, New York.

A source tells the outlet Chris has rented a 4,000-square-foot mansion belonging to the general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, Mitch Kupchak.

Gwyneth’s home is said to be “just a few blocks and a short walk away”.

Neighbours have reportedly spotted Chris out and about town solo, and with the pair’s two children.

The Coldplay rocker recently opened up about the breakdown of his ten-year marriage, cooling rumours it might not be over after all.

“We are very close. We are not together. But we’re — you know — that’s the truth and that’s it. There’s a lot of love. No scandal, I’m afraid,” he told America’s Z100 radio host Elvis Duran, adding that he was trying to see some good in the pain of the split.

“There’s a phrase [that] was written by a singer, Leonard Cohen, which is, ‘The crack is where the light comes in.’ So, sometimes you have to go through something painful or breakage to see the beauty of things,” he explained.

His remarks echoed the sentiments of the statement posted on Gwyneth’s blog in March, famously entitled “Conscious Uncoupling”.

“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” she wrote. “We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.”
