Wiz Khalifa is supposedly wanted for arrest.

The 26-year-old Black and Yellow rapper was taken into custody at the airport in El Paso, Texas last May after allegedly attempting to sneak marijuana onto a plane.

TMZ reports he was due in court on the matter Wednesday but failed to appear. In response to Wiz’s absence, the presiding judge issued an arrest warrant.

While incarcerated the first time in Texas, the musician took a selfie from behind bars and shared it with fans.

The picture caused a lot of controversy and since prisoners aren’t normally allowed mobile phones, Wiz previously explained how the infamous image came about.

“[The officer] was p**sed,” he told Sway in the Morning. “Cause I was like, ‘Yo, can I get that phone, man? I really need to call my wife. I gotta tell her what happened.’ And he gave me the phone, and I was like, ‘Selfie!’”

Wiz didn’t only post an image of himself online; he also took one of his cell door. He captioned that photo with, “Free Trap Wiz,” which struck a chord with his fans on social networking sites – something he was delighted to see.

“It wasn’t really a surprise,” he explained. “It definitely felt good, though. It’s good to see people rally up for a good cause, ’cause you doing something positive over here. I’m a lot of kids’ hero. If you were to lock up the Ninja Turtles, I would have did exactly the same thing.”
