Kendall Jenner and Ashton Irwin “definitely have chemistry”, it is claimed.
The model was apparently spotted with the 5 Seconds of Summer performer, who previously toured with One Direction on the European leg of their Where We Are tour.
The 20-year-old performer allegedly hung out with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality TV star while the band was staying at a hotel in New York on Monday.
“There was definitely chemistry between Kendall and Ashton,” a source told the British newspaper the Mirror.
“She and Ashton seemed to really hit it off, though they were also hanging out with Ashton’s bandmate, Calum Hood, and some of their team. They had some drinks and decided to continue the party later on.”
Kendall was previously romantically linked to One Direction singer Harry Styles, who is considered by many to be a lothario. However, the couple reportedly ended the relationship after three months.
“Kendall and Harry have been over for quite some time,” the source explained. “They were dating at the start of the year but it fizzled out so she has absolutely no ties to him.”
The insider explained Kendall and her friend Hailey Baldwin visit with the boys freely. The source insists the 18-year-old model is “perfectly entitled to party” with 5 Seconds of Summer “without [Harry]” around.
Kendall, who has walked the runway for major names including Chanel and Marc Jacobs, has been busy with her career in recent months and consequently travelling a lot. The star told Teen Vogue magazine recently she doesn’t have a “romantic life at the moment”.
“But I do want to go home. When I was young, I was the kid who would call my dad from a slumber party to beg him to come pick me up,” Kendall, who appears on two different covers of the September issue of the publication, shared.
