Cheryl Fernandez-Versini reportedly has a zero-tolerance policy for cheaters.

The 31-year-old singer married French entrepreneur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini last month after a whirlwind three-month romance, apparently already changing her last name from Cole.

She's now said to be so serious about being faithful, her morals have trickled into her work.

UK newspaper The Sun reports Cheryl “laid down the law” with contestants of the X Factor UK when Simon Cowell asked a group of boyband hopefuls if they had any secret girlfriends.

“Cheryl just leapt in and said that if they were they mustn’t cheat on their lovers,” an audience member at the Saturday auditions told the outlet, noting her highly-publicised 2010 divorce from English footballer Ashley Cole.

“She left them in no doubt she was deadly serious. It raised a few eyebrows, because everyone knows what Ashley Cole put her through," the insider added.

Cheryl has meanwhile endured a string of unflattering headlines in the wake of her recent union on the island of Mustique.

The Sun previously reported Caribbean officials hit a snag in making the marriage official due to alleged confusion over her new husband’s full name, listed as Jean-Bernard Justin Antoine Aime Bastien Thierry Fernandez, as well as the handwriting of the original official.

A clerk told The Sun last month they needed Cheryl and Jean-Bernard to contact them in order to complete the paperwork.

“We need to know the spelling of his names before we can process the documents and register the marriage,” the clerk said.
Reports also surfaced the pair had wed without a prenuptial agreement.
Cheryl meanwhile appears to be rising above the gossip.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the wedding, she gushed: “I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news... Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14.

“We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.”
