Christina Aguilera is “proud” of her body during pregnancy.
The 33-year-old, who is carrying her second child, posed nude in a spread for VMagazine. The Voice coach was joined by fiancé Matthew Rutler in the photos taken by Brian Bowen Smith, hoping to show she has no shame about her changing shape.
“As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store,” the songstress shared.
This is the Beautiful hitmaker’s second child as she is also the mother of six-year-old Max, her son with ex-husband Jordan Bratman. The singer married the music marketing executive in 2005 but the couple divorced in 2011. She met Matthew on the set of the movie Burlesque.
The Genie in a Bottle performer and her fiancé reportedly hosted a Midsummer Night’s Dream-themed baby shower earlier this month.
“Everybody gave toasts and Christina gave a speech about how she felt so much love. She thanked everyone for supporting her and said how excited she was to have a baby girl. It was a really sweet night,” a guest previously told People magazine.
The baby shower was apparently “very romantic” with candles, Moroccan pillow seating stations and soft lights.
Following the birth of her daughter, the Fighter singer is reportedly looking forward to getting back her figure. Christian has struggled with her weight in the past but prior to her pregnancy she managed to go down from a US size 16 to a size six, it is claimed.
