Karrueche Tran has reportedly changed her phone number after dumping Chris Brown.
The R&B singer has enjoyed an on/off relationship with Karrueche, which has been marred by speculation he is still interested in his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. During one of his splits from Karrueche he and Rihanna started dating again, but when that ended Chris reignited things with the model.
Recently it was claimed she had decided to move on completely, even after standing by Chris during his recent stints in rehab and prison for probation violation. Although the details were initially hazy, Karrueche is now said to have taken steps to cut her ex out of her life for good.
According to TMZ, she broke things off and has also changed her phone number so Chris has no way of reaching her.
The website claims Rihanna had a role in the split - although not as many might think. Chris apparently recently liked two pictures of himself with the Barbadian singer which were posted on Instagram by a fan and that proved to be the tipping point for Karrueche.
Although that was the final straw, there are said to have been other issues within the relationship too. Karrueche is reportedly bored of Chris' supposedly child-like antics and can't understand why he prefers to spend time partying instead of recording tracks in the studio.
In an apparent effort to show his ex what she's missing, Chris has been in St Tropez this week. He's been pictured having fun on jet skis and aboard a yacht, with a bevy of bikini-clad women alongside him. One of those is said to be a close friend Karrueche's, which apparently prompted her to swap her digits.
Last month Karrueche appeared on a US talk show to discuss her relationship with Chris. She admitted things had been hard and that she struggled to deal with him having romanced Rihanna in the past.
“I've never dated a celebrity before so it was very new to me, paparazzi and all that," she told Keke Palmer. “And then, even the situation with Rihanna, you know the reason why people turned into this so much was because it's relatable. I have girlfriends, I have family who's gone through the same situation. It's the case of the ex. We all go through it, [but] in this case my boyfriend is a celebrity whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger [celebrity]."
Chris and Rihanna initially split in 2009 after he assaulted her.
