Jay Z and Beyoncé reportedly want to take their On the Run Tour to the UK.

The superstar couple are currently in the midst of their joint concert series but have yet to announce any solid dates in Britain after failing to confirm a venue for a show next month, according to UK newspaper The Sun.

However, a source tells the outer the pair are eager to play in the UK, and will likely reveal details soon.

“Jay Z and Beyonce will play a stadium in Britain, probably in London, before the autumn,” the source said.

Fans may have to rush to snap up tickets and clear their schedules, however. According to the insider, there may not be much time between a possible show and when seats first come up for grabs.

“It needs to be a stadium because of the scale of the production. It could be the case that there will be just weeks between tickets going on sale and the event," the source said.

Jay and Bey launched the tour in Miami in late June and have dates scheduled throughout the US and Canada through early next month. The current schedule also shows two dates planned for Paris in September.

The trek has been marred by controversy, however, amid rumours the couple is on the rocks.

While the pair have put on a united front on stage, eyebrows were raised recently when Bey changed the lyrics of one of her songs to seemingly accuse Jay of not treating her properly.

Apparently the rapper is determined to hammer out any issues.

“Jay is desperate to get back into Beyoncé's good books. He does love her very much and feels awful that the rumours have embarrassed her in this way," a source told British magazine Heat.

The couple married in secret in April 2008 and share a two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
