Nick and Vanessa Lachey are expecting their second child.
The former 98 Degrees singer, 40, announced the happy news Tuesday via Twitter.
"Can't think of a better way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful @VanessaLachey than this! #family,” he wrote.
The pop star included a photo of a heart drawn in the sand with the words “It’s a girl”, and the couple’s son, Camden, running in the frame.
Vanessa, 33, gave birth to little Camden in September 2012.
The television personality opened up about struggling with “baby blues” shortly after becoming a mother.
"No matter how many books you read, NOTHING prepares you better than the real thing. I felt lost, unloved, alone and at my wits end,” she shared in a blog post published in March 2013.
"I didn't feel like myself," she explained. "Where was the super woman who always thought and knew she could do it all? Where was the organized Vanessa who had it all under control no matter what the obstacle? She was gone, and I thought… forever."
Nick has since praised his wife as an excellent mother.
“My wife's maternal side is a new dynamic to her personality," he told Parents magazine earlier this year. "It's definitely made her even sexier."
Nick and Vanessa were married on July 15, 2011 after meeting on the set of his 2006 music video What’s Left of Me.
