Justin Bieber has reportedly been ordered to sit for a second deposition in his Florida assault case.
Celebrity photographer Jeffrey Binion sued the singer, 20, after an alleged incident in Miami Beach last June, when the snapper claims he was attacked by the star’s bodyguard.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, a judge ruled Justin will be required to answer questions he refused to answer during his first deposition in March.
A video released of the first sit-down shows Justin getting noticeably agitated when asked about whether he discussed paparazzi with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The singer’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, reportedly objected to the line of questioning as he felt it was created only to make his client angry.
“Don’t ask me about her again,” Justin shouts.
A date for the second deposition has not yet been set, but TMZ reports it will be videotaped.
Also named in the lawsuit is Justin’s bodyguard, Hugo Hesney, who the plaintiff claims roughed him up after Justin allegedly ordered him to steal his camera’s memory card.
The plaintiff was allegedly taking photos outside a Miami recording studio but denies he’s a paparazzo.
He claims the alleged incident caused him pain and suffering, bodily injury and mental anguish, according to the website. He also claims to have racked up substantial medical bills as a result.
“Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber’s violent behaviour toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions,” attorney Russell S. Adler told the outlet at the time.
The lawyer is seeking punitive damages for his client.
