Platinum-selling artist and global style icon Kate Nash has launched a brand new music video called 'She Rules'. The song was written and recorded by Kate Nash and mixed by Tom Biller. Kate herself edited the video on iMovie.
Kate's recent birthday - she turned 27 on the 6th of July - was celebrated in Los Angeles. Kate says, "It was a wild night with special people and it was nice to be reminded of the close friendships I have out here in a new city. It also reminded me how much I have changed over the past two years and how much has happened! It’s exciting to be 27! It feels like a very womanly age, I feel more secure in myself as I get older and I like this number a lot. I wrote letters to my sisters and the girlfriends back home that I couldn’t spend the day with which in turn inspired a song. It’s called She Rules."
Kate is a front row regular at New York and London Fashion Weeks and a recurring face in both fashion and mainstream media around the globe. Kate released her first single in 2007 and was crowned ‘Best Female Artist’ at the 2008 BRIT Awards. Kate launched her third studio album in 2013 and continues to layer her music profile with fashion, acting (she starred in three feature-length films in 2013) and writing music for a Broadway play, 'Only Gold'. Kate played Coachella in April and is gearing up to play Lollapalooza and Osheaga in August.
