Selena Gomez is reportedly continuing to worry loved ones with her imbibing.
The 21-year-old pop star was apparently seen “day-drinking” with friends at trendy Brooklyn, New York spot The Bedford Wednesday afternoon.
The New York Post’s PageSix reports Selena was sipping on a Jameson and Coke, amid ongoing rumours her family and friends are trying to get her into rehab.
An insider described the outing as a “business meeting”. However, Selena was later reportedly seen hitting up two other hotspots: Tao Downtown and nightclub Marquee.
A purported witness told PageSix Selena and a friend “danced on a banquette for an hour and left around 2am”.
Meanwhile, the star is said to be under major pressure to get help amid rumours her relationships with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber and best pal Demi Lovato have both soured.
“Family and friends are stressing to Selena that she should enter rehab this weekend,” a source told Hollywood Life last week. “She is a mess over what Justin has been doing to her, and how he has played with her emotions. She really is taking things hard with the Justin and Demi drama.”
According to the insider, people in Selena’s camp “want to get her help as soon as possible”. But it appears that mission has so far not been successful.
Selena allegedly entered rehab in January 2014 to help her deal with several issues. A spokesperson for the star said at the time it was not for substance abuse.
Selena's rep had yet to comment on the latest claims at press time.
