Kim Kardashian apparently took a helicopter to New York City “to Instagram”.
The reality television star, who recently wed Kanye West, posted photos of herself Sunday with a headset after hopping into a chopper for a brief jaunt from The Hamptons, a posh vacation spot about 90 miles east of the city.
Apparently Kim was in dire need of a cell phone signal, and wasn’t going to stop until she found one.
“Bye Hamps!!!!” she wrote. “YOUR CELL PHONE RECEPTION SUCKS!!!! Have to go to the city real quick to Instagram!!!”
The 33-year-old posted another photo of herself looking done-up while in the air.
“#up,” she captioned the image, which received thousands of likes within minutes.
The posts came just hours after Kim was seen partying in The Hamptons with mum Kris Jenner and model Christie Brinkley.
“I really love this gorgeous woman!!!! @christiebrinkley,” Kim captioned a black-and-white photo of the pair.
The ladies were also seen partying with the Kardashian-Jenner family’s former nemesis, American journalist Katie Couric.
Apparently Kris has buried the hatchet with Katie, who was slammed by the family last year when she publicly questioned why the Kardashian clan was famous.
Kim responded at the time by slamming the journalist for sending her then-newborn daughter North a set of pajamas.

But all was forgiven on Kris’ Instagram Saturday.
