Ellie Goulding is reportedly eager to let everyone know her new boyfriend is the "only one on her mind".
The British singer, 27, confirmed she's dating McFly singer Dougie Poynter, 26, when they stepped out holding hands last month.
It came shortly after rumours she was getting close to Rita Ora's ex Calvin Harris and Ellie was apparently very eager to put gossip about the Scottish DJ to bed.
"Ellie is fiercely private, but she wants to make it clear that Dougie is the only man on her mind," a source explained to British magazine Star.
"Their relationship is going from strength to strength, regardless of people trying to spread rumours. Ellie and Calvin have been friends for years - it's all so ridiculous."
Dougie also cemented their status as a couple by speaking out and confirming Ellie is his "bird". Apparently the tattooed star is eager to look after his new girlfriend.
"Dougie is so protective of Ellie - it's very sweet," the insider smiled.
It seems things are going well for the two stars. Ellie recently appeared on the cover of Self magazine and in the accompanying interview she addressed the fact that she's very much in love.
“I’ve definitely met someone. You get to know someone who makes you very happy and then you go away on tour, right when it was just getting somewhere awesome. It’s not fun, but we can make it work. Love is beyond everything, beyond the universe," she gushed to the publication.
