Chris Brown is supposedly living “smoke and alcohol” free.
The 25-year-old singer was released from jail in June after being behind bars for months, having been sent to prison for getting kicked out of anger management rehab.
It’s rumoured he is currently residing with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran and apparently the model rid his home of all drink and drugs.
“He doesn’t even have alcohol at the house. When he was in jail, Kae cleaned his house from top to bottom and gave away all the unopened alcohol bottles as gifts months ago,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“Chris is living a smoke-free, alcohol-free life.”
The Deuces singer performed at the 2014 BET Awards Sunday night, his first show since leaving jail.
It was suggested he may have been drinking following his sensational performance, as TMZ posted a video of him leaving a nightclub being carried by friends to a car.
But apparently he’s on the straight and narrow, even though he may have celebrated the night of the ceremony.
“Everybody needs to chill and stop watching him like he’s some some sort of dignitary or head of f***ing state,” the insider added. “He’s a grown a** man who’s trying to do the right thing day by day.”
And it’s claimed his girlfriend, Karrueche, isn’t worried about his alleged drinking either.
“Chris doesn’t have an addictive personality and Karrueche thinks this was one of those instances where he got loose with his boys after the awards show and turnt up a little,” the source said. “What he did was his business, and she isn’t worried in the least about him getting into trouble with alcohol.”
