Dolly Parton reportedly wants to recreate the Glastonbury experience in her native Tennessee.
The 68-year-old country music diva brought the house down at the annual music festival in Somerset, England on Sunday.
And UK newspaper The Sun now reports Dolly is so keen on bringing more music-lovers to her home state she’s spoken to Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis about her plans for what’s been dubbed “Glastondolly” by the outlet.
“I have a lotta land up near east Tennessee and we do a lot of festivals through my Dollywood company,” she allegedly said while at Worthy Farm.
“I’ve often thought I might start my own festival in Tennessee. Maybe I’ll get good pointers from this one. I think I’m going to do that – Michael can give me some tips. Why wouldn’t I want something amazing like this?” she was quoted reasoning.
Dolly had yet to comment on the report at press time.
The country music legend meanwhile still has fans young and old buzzing about her Yakety Sax performance at the weekend.
“I was feeling rather saxy today,” she told the crowd while busting out a tiny rhinestone encrusted saxophone. “I wanted to do something to impress you."
According to BBC News, Dolly’s performance drew the largest crowds at the three-day event.
The show wasn’t without some controversy, however, with one British news presenter accusing the star of lip-synching.
Dolly swiftly shot down the claims, musing to The Sun: “My boobs are fake, my hair's fake but what's real is my voice and my heart.”
