Iggy Azalea reportedly sees her boyfriend as an “escape from all the craziness”.
The 24-year-old Australian rapper is currently in a relationship with professional basketball player Nick Young.
Since her debut album The New Classic was released in April, Iggy’s reach has expanded exponentially and she supposedly finds respite from her newfound fame in the arms of her lover.
“She is blowing up right now and [Nick’s] her escape from all the craziness,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.
Iggy began dating the 29-year-old NBA player after she broke up with fellow rapper A$AP Rocky in 2012.
Apparently her new romance with is nothing like her former relationship with Rocky.
"[Being with Nick is] the opposite [of her] dramatic relationship [with A$AP Rocky],” the source continued. “[Nick is] just a really fun-loving, sweet guy."
Iggy vacationed with her boyfriend in Mexico earlier this month and the pair went on a boat cruise on their holiday.
Apparently they have a blast whenever they hang out.
"They only have a good time together," the source said. "It's a really fun relationship, they are always laughing and having fun… it's very light and drama-free with them. She has gotten really into basketball from him [and] he doesn't even mind going shopping with her which is rare! As long as they are together. I can see them getting engaged someday!"
Iggy’s love affair with Nick began over Twitter, after the athlete declared he was pining after her during “Woman Crush Wednesday”.
