One of the biggest events of the summer, Isle of MTV Malta has announced that global superstars ENRIQUE IGLESIAS and NICOLE SCHERZINGER will complete this year’s line up for MTV’s live music extravaganza.
The summer spectacular, taking place in Malta’s historic Il-Fosos Square, Floriana on Wednesday 25th June 2014 will feature must see performances from rap superstar Dizzee Rascal, electro pop singer Kiesza and the world’s number one DJ and producer DJ Hardwell.
Now in its eighth year, the must-attend open-air event – organised in partnership with Malta Tourism Authority is
sponsored by music and lifestyle brand House of Marley and Someone Like Me, a global sex education campaign
partnership between Durex and MTV Staying Alive Foundation.
Thousands of music fans from near and far will descend upon this sun kissed island on 25th June 2014 for one of the
must-attend highlights of the summer music calendar. For the first time ever, this year will also include a BATTLE OF THE BANDS competition giving one lucky local band the opportunity to perform at this summer´s live music event.
Local bands had the opportunity to submit entries on IsleofMTV.com between 30 May 2014 and 6 June 2014, the official winner to be announced mid June.
