Demi Lovato has told fans to expect a “very special announcement” Thursday.

The 21-year-old pop star wrapped up her Neon Lights Tour just last month, but it seems she has no plans to slow down.

In a cryptic tweet posted Wednesday evening, Demi urged fans to tune into Ryan Seacrest’s US radio show, where they can expect to hear about what she’s up to next.

“Tune in to @RyanSeacrest on @1027KIISFM tomorrow at 8:45a PST for a very special announcement!!!!” Demi wrote.

The star included what appeared to be a few clues, attaching an image of her face pasted over the body of a Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in front of the city’s Staples Center, while UFOs hovered in the background.

Ryan was also included in the photo, laughing to the side as he took a photo on a smartphone.

Within minutes, thousands of fans had re-tweeted the message, speculating what all the fuss was about.

“hmm,” one fan pondered.

“@ddlovato are you becoming a basketball player,” another mused.

While it remains unclear what Demi has in store, the message come just weeks after she opened up about the pressures her career brings.

Since launching her debut album in 2008, however, Demi said she’s learned not to place too much weight on others’ opinions of what she does.

“I try not to live up to people’s expectations,” she told MTV News. “It’s hard because there’s a lot of pressure on you as an artist – as a pop artist – to look a certain way, or to act a certain way and your music to sound a certain way.”

Demi meanwhile is just a few months off before then kicking off her second tour this year, the Demi World Tour.

The concert series is scheduled to launch in Baltimore, Maryland in September, followed by shows in the US and Canada before it wraps up in Newark, New Jersey on October 25.
