Jessica Simpson will apparently get married at a beachfront resort.
The 33-year-old fashion designer will tie the knot with her fiancé Eric Johnson, 34, at the Bacara Resort & Spa outside of Santa Barbara, California, an insider told US Weekly.
The ceremony will be held on July 4, and the night before the couple will host a barbecue dinner for their wedding party.
Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli were also married at the resort, which overlooks the ocean, while Fergie and Josh Duhamel renewed their vows there.
The resort and spa is booked “for now” as the Dukes of Hazard actress may change her mind. “Jess keeps going back and forth on locales,” the insider shared.
The star has reportedly designed her own wedding dress for the event, which is rumoured to be a classic yet modern affair.
"Jessica is being incredibly secretive about her gown. One of her biggest weight-loss motivators has been looking great in her wedding dress. She's actually helped design it, and one thing is for sure: it will not be traditional!" an insider previously revealed to the American edition of OK! magazine.
Jessica was previously married to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, but their four-year union ended in 2006. She and her American football player fiancé have two children together, two-year-old daughter Maxwell and son Ace, 11 months.
Jessica’s sister Ashlee is set to wed The Hunger Games actor Evan Ross on August 31. It will also be the second marriage for Ashlee, who wedded Fall Out Boy musician Pete Wentz in 2008. The former couple welcomed their son Bronx the same year, but their divorce was finalised in 2011.
