Shannon Leto has been arrested for DUI and allegedly driving without a license.

The Thirty Seconds to Mars drummer and brother of Jared Leto was arrested in Hollywood on Monday night after police noticed signs of alcohol impairment when they approached his vehicle.

The car the musician was driving stalled on Fairfax Blvd, catching the attention of cops and alerting them to the situation. The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Shannon at 7pm, TMZ reported.

The 44-year-old rock star also allegedly had an outstanding warrant for driving without a license.

According to the website, he is currently in police custody on $5,000 bail, which will be added to a $2,500 fine incurred for driving without a license.

Shannon is the elder brother of Oscar-award winning actor Jared Leto, who is also in Thirty Seconds to Mars. The band formed in 1998, but the brothers started making music from an early age.

"Jared and I were always playing instruments when we were growing up," the elder Leto brother told online publication, Guitar Center. "We didn't have a plan to become musicians. The instruments were always there and we just played them.

Then one day we decided to make a CD together. It sounded so good that we decided to share the experience with people and play out. The rest is history."

Thirty Seconds to Mars is set to play a show in Turin, Italy, this Thursday as part of their Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams tour. It is unknown whether Monday’s arrest will force the band to call off the gig.
