Ciara, Nathan Followill and Sam Claflin were among stars celebrating America’s Father’s Day on social media.

Goodies singer Ciara, who welcomed her first child with rapper Future last month, shared the couple’s first photo of their baby boy on Instagram Sunday.

“Hey Dad aka Big @Future. Baby Future Loves You. #HappyFathersDay,” she captioned a photo of the tot showing off his matching black duds, including a shirt with his name written across his chest.

Kings of Leon rocker Nathan Followill, who shares daughter Violet with wife Jessie Baylin, tweeted about enjoying a meal with his family before the band’s show at Britain's Isle of Wight Festival Sunday night.

"Happy Fathers Day. Breakfast & lunch with Violet, dinner with a few thousand friends at Isle of Wight. See y'all soon,” he wrote.

The Hunger Games star Sam Claflin paid tribute to his own father, trying to cheer him up after England’s loss to Italy in the World Cup.

"Happy Father's Day to the big man @markclaflin. Wish England could've have worked some magic for you last night. Have a great day mate,” he wrote.

Father-of-three Rob Lowe was also enjoying a sports-filled Sunday, telling fans he was celebrating the day while taking in a tennis match.

"Father's day in London. Off to Queen's Cup. Go Andy [Murray]! Happy Fathers Day , brother Dads!" he wrote.

Not all stars were glued to their computers and mobile devices, however.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber were seen soaking up some sun in Malibu, California on Sunday with their sons Alexander and Samuel.

“Thank you all. Happy Father's Day to all the dads!” he tweeted.

Rihanna also jumped on board, recoginising parents who step in for absent fathers.

“Happy Father's Day to the step fathers who step up for the fathers who cant! And especially to the Mothers who have to be both, we adore you,” she tweeted.

The pop star also heaped praise on her own dad: “Happy Father's Day Pops! I love you deeply and unconditionally! You've taught me so much about myself! #DAD,” she tweeted.

Seth Rogen meanwhile hoped his dad had figured out social media well enough to see his message of appreciation.

“Happy Father's Day dad! I hope you figured out Twitter, because I'm not calling you on the phone,” he tweeted with a photo of the pair.
