Justin Bieber will not face a felony charge for attempted robbery, according to a new report.

The 20-year-old pop star was the subject of an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after a local woman claimed Justin grabbed her phone out of her purse after she attempted to snap photos of him at a batting cage last month.

TMZ reports police have found no evidence to support the woman’s claims, however, prompting the District Attorney to reject felony prosecution.

The case has now been sent to the City Attorney, who TMZ reports could still charge Justin with a misdemeanour.
It’s not the only legal battle Justin is fighting at the moment.

The District Attorney is reportedly still considering charging him with a felony amid claims he egged a neighbour’s home, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage.

A spokesperson for the star had not commented publicly on the most recent development at press time.

However, Justin appeared to address recent speculation about his behaviour in a post on Twitter days after the alleged altercation at Sherman Oaks Castle Park.

“It is hard to defend myself and my privacy every moment of the day. Then to see rumours. The truth will set u free (sic),” he tweeted.

Justin went on to detail his values, claiming he was always taught by his mother Pattie Mallette to treat people with respect.

“My mom raised me to be kind to others. I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn’t easy. But we keep trying. I will continue to be the man my mother raised,” he declared.

“I love people and I will try to be kind even when things are not fair. Don’t believe rumours. Thanks for those who stick by me and those that help me grow everyday. I love you. Off to have fun and smile with friends. I’m human. I feel. I hurt. But I got thick skin too. I can handle it. I love you.”
