50 Cent dreams of N' Sync reuniting.
The In da Club singer is known for his rapping skills and graphic lyrics, but away from his stage persona 50 is a big fan of Justin Timberlake's former band.
Justin, along with bandmates JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass were one of the biggest groups of the late '90s but called it quits in 2002
"I reckon the N'Sync boys," 50 told the British edition of GQ when they asked which band he'd most like to see reform. "They had so many big hits, you couldn't help but listen to them.
"I saw Justin and his whole crew recently and it's interesting to see them together and what they've been up to, although it really is mostly been about Justin. How does that happen? You have so many talented guys in a group but only one person seems to be able to go out there and become a huge star."
50, real name Curtis James Jackson III, has just released his fifth studio album titled Animal Ambition, with plans to release his next record just a few months later in September.
The quick succession of new music comes after a four-and-a-half year absence from the scene. Despite having worked in the industry for more than two decades there are still aspects of fame that surprise the 38-year-old star.
"The strangest things happen to me in my career. You know, I'll go to a basketball game and I'll sit next to Meryl Streep and it goes everywhere.
"And, then I go to a baseball game and I throw the pitch, and now there are the funniest clips of my throw out there online. I'm just like 'Wow, what's going on here?' Everything I hear about myself has nothing to do with the music and never focuses on my actual work," 50 said, of his recent failed attempt to throw the opening pitch at a baseball game.
