Taken from their much acclaimed fourth album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the single, available digitally, features the Tom Furse (The Horrors) Extrapolation mix, the Todd Terje Extended mix and a cover of the track by Frankie & The Heartstrings – the band recently played an in-store show at the Pop Recs Ltd in Sunderland, a record shop run by Frankie & The Heartstrings.

The song is inspired by Alex’s time in Sunderland as a child, mentioning both the local Marsden Rock and South Shields Metro station.

"Ach, it's one of those optimistic pessimist's songs - as the North Sea sings "Come to me! Throw yourself to me!" all you can imagine is stepping across the horizon into a golden future while Marsden Rock collapses under the waves." – Alex Kapranos

Additionally, they recently completed an extensive U.K. tour in March, featuring two sold out shows at London’s Roundhouse and appeared at the inaugural 6 Music Festival in Manchester.

This summer sees them play festivals across the globe, including a headline appearance at Fuji Rock in Japan and shows at T in the Park and Somerset House in the UK.

Their UK shows are as follows:
